Believing in the vast power of the body and mind to heal themselves, Karen worked to support an enlightened experience in each patient of their own life and its relationship to all of nature. Karen believed that with compassionate support, each patient can break free of habitual constrictions and constraints and experience an open mind, an open and flexible body, and an experience of life which allows a generous, joyful and compassionate intention toward all.
ACUPUNCTURE AND RELATED HEALING ARTS
Karen Kisslinger was a Diplomate of the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), was on the Board of Directors of Acupuncturists Without Borders, and practiced Classical Five Element Acupuncture for over 30 years.
She trained in England in the 1970’s with Dr. JR Worsley, at a time when there were few options for excellent study in the U.S.
Her healing work also involved a variety of related healing modalities including acupressure, essential oils, zero balancing principles, moxabustion, Chinese dietary considerations, and Macrobiotic dietary considerations.
In order to support each patient in finding their best and most generous state of health and well being, Karen’s tailored her treatments to the energetic needs of the patient, accounting for the season, the quality of their work demands, the quality of their diet…both emotional and food.
Believing in the vast power of the body and mind to heal themselves given the right conditions, all of Karen’s work was designed to support an enlightened experience in each patient of their own life and its relationship to all of nature. Karen believed that with compassionate support, each patient can break free of habitual constrictions and constraints and experience an open mind, an open and flexible body, and an experience of life which allows a generous, joyful and compassionate intention toward all.
Naturally, in such a state, various symptoms clear and heal.
